Listing Terms

These terms apply to business owners and tour guides who create an account or a listing on Tanzania Pulse. They come on top of the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who can list

You must be at least 18 and own or manage the business you list, or be a tour guide with a valid licence. You are responsible for everything submitted from your account, so keep your password safe.

2. Accurate information

Your details, prices, photos and location must be true and up to date. You must own the photos you upload or have permission to use them, and they must show your own business. Prices are a guide for visitors: honour the price you show or update it.

3. Checks and approval

We review every application, listing change and guide registration before it goes live. We may ask for more information, check by phone or in person, and decline, edit for clarity, hide or remove a listing or account that breaks these terms, misleads visitors or receives serious complaints. We will tell you why when we can.

4. Visitor requests

Visitors' requests are sent to your dashboard and email. Reply promptly and honestly. You may only use a visitor's name, phone number and email to answer that request; do not add them to marketing lists or share them with anyone else. You are responsible for the agreement and payment between you and the visitor.

5. Reviews

Visitors who sent you a request can review you. You may not post reviews of your own business, pay for or pressure people into reviews, or ask us to remove genuine reviews. Tell us if a review breaks our rules and we will look at it.

6. Fees and featured listings

Listing on Tanzania Pulse is free during our launch period. [[TODO: confirm when and how listing fees may start]] Featured listings are optional and paid in advance by mobile money; see the Refund Policy. We will give at least [[TODO: number]] days' notice before any new fee.

7. Ending your listing

You can hide your listing at any time from your dashboard, or ask us to delete your account. We may end an account that breaks these terms. Reviews already written about your business may stay on the site.

8. Changes and law

Masharti ya Kuorodheshwa

Masharti haya yanawahusu wamiliki wa biashara na waongoza watalii wanaofungua akaunti au kuorodhesha huduma kwenye Tanzania Pulse. Yanaongeza juu ya Masharti ya Matumizi na Sera ya Faragha.

1. Nani anaweza kuorodheshwa

Lazima uwe na angalau miaka 18 na uwe mmiliki au msimamizi wa biashara unayoiorodhesha, au uwe mwongoza watalii mwenye leseni halali. Unawajibika kwa kila kitu kinachotumwa kutoka kwenye akaunti yako, hivyo linda nenosiri lako.

2. Taarifa sahihi

Taarifa zako, bei, picha na mahali lazima viwe vya kweli na vya sasa. Lazima uwe mmiliki wa picha unazopakia au uwe na ruhusa ya kuzitumia, na lazima zionyeshe biashara yako mwenyewe. Bei ni mwongozo kwa wageni: heshimu bei unayoonyesha au uisasishe.

3. Ukaguzi na kukubaliwa

Tunakagua kila ombi, mabadiliko ya huduma na usajili wa mwongoza watalii kabla haujawekwa hewani. Tunaweza kuomba taarifa zaidi, kukagua kwa simu au ana kwa ana, na kukataa, kuhariri ili iwe wazi zaidi, kuficha au kuondoa huduma au akaunti inayovunja masharti haya, inayowapotosha wageni au inayopokea malalamiko makubwa. Tutakueleza sababu tunapoweza.

4. Maombi ya wageni

Maombi ya wageni yanatumwa kwenye dashibodi yako na barua pepe. Jibu haraka na kwa ukweli. Unaweza kutumia jina, namba ya simu na barua pepe ya mgeni tu kujibu ombi hilo; usiwaweke kwenye orodha za matangazo wala kuwashirikisha na mtu mwingine. Unawajibika kwa makubaliano na malipo kati yako na mgeni.

5. Maoni

Wageni waliokutumia ombi wanaweza kutoa maoni kukuhusu. Hauruhusiwi kuandika maoni kuhusu biashara yako mwenyewe, kulipa au kuwashinikiza watu kutoa maoni, wala kutuomba tuondoe maoni ya kweli. Tujulishe maoni yakivunja sheria zetu na tutayaangalia.

6. Ada na huduma zilizoangaziwa

Kuorodheshwa kwenye Tanzania Pulse ni bure katika kipindi chetu cha uzinduzi. [[TODO: confirm when and how listing fees may start]] Huduma zilizoangaziwa ni za hiari na zinalipwa mapema kwa pesa za simu; tazama Sera ya Kurejesha Pesa. Tutatoa taarifa ya angalau siku [[TODO: number]] kabla ya ada yoyote mpya.

7. Kumaliza kuorodheshwa

Unaweza kuficha huduma yako wakati wowote kwenye dashibodi yako, au kutuomba tufute akaunti yako. Tunaweza kufunga akaunti inayovunja masharti haya. Maoni yaliyokwisha andikwa kuhusu biashara yako yanaweza kubaki kwenye tovuti.

8. Mabadiliko na sheria
